whisper-of-the-heart

Hello and Greetings Fellow Otaku,

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I have been uber busy with work and other things that has cut into my blogging time but in other business I have an important announcement for all you Miyazaki fans out there.

Though there is no official word on this at the moment, Disney has plans to release DVD\Blu-Ray combo packs of Hayao Miyazaki’s Castle In The Sky, Whispers of The Heart and The Secret World of Arrietty (Currently playing at a theatre near you) sometime in the near future.

Currently there is no official word as to when these films will be released, but many internet retailers including Amazon.com and one of my personal favorites Robert’s Anime Corner Store are taking pre-orders for all three films. Amazon has the combo pack available for pre-order for $27.99 with free shipping while the Anime Corner Store has it available for $34.98 plus shipping and handling.

If you would like to pre order these, please click on the links below.

Yea, with all the royalties they get off each film, I am not surprised if the Miyazakies start releasing their films under their own studio.
