Naruto__Sadness_and_Sorrow

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Today I planned on starting coverage of Anime March Madness, however this will be pushed over to tomorrow. For those of you who may or may not have herd, at 2:46 PM (Local Time-Japan)\ 12:46 AM (EST-Eastern Standard Time) a 8.9 magnitude earthquake occurred near the east coast of Honshu Japan. Hours later, a huge tsunami slammed the area in which thousands of homes, vehicles, and boats among other things were swept away in it’s path.

According to area police, about 178 were killed in the tsunami,  584 people are missing from the area and 947 people were injured from it. We here at AFC would like to extend our thoughts and well wishes to those individuals and families who were affected by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

For more information about what happened and what you can do to help, please check out the following links at the end of this post. Thank you.
