Hello and greetings fellow Otaku,

Now I know that this may seem like a bit of old news to some of you out there, but for those of you who love Viz Manga titles and if you own or are planning on getting an Apple iPad this holiday season, you may want to sit down for this next post, and trust me you will be amazed at what I am about to tell you.

Last month, Viz Media took the first step towards legal digital manga distribution by launching their own iPad and iPhone  and iPod Touch apps in the Apple Apps Store. The application includes all of the popular Viz titles in which you can download the first chapters for free.

However, if you would like the full version for your ipad, iPhone or iPod touch, you will have to pay $4.99 for the titles that you want. Keep in mind that $4.99 is a really good price for digital manga and it is a lot better than spending close to nine or ten dollars at your local book or comic book store to get the same exact titles. Unfortunately, I do not own an iPad at the moment. But if I did, this would be the first app that I would install on it. Who knows, Santa may bring me one for Christmas LOL!!!!

But anyway, if you would like to download the app, click on the link at the end of this post. So until next time, remember that there is a ton of great anime and manga out there. All you have to do is find it. Ltrs.

My wife is not crazy about reading on a “computer”, but maybe something for me 🙂

Still would miss that paper smell though

Does this mean that you only have to pay 4.99$ for unlimited manga? if so, that would be so epic! Too bad I don’t have a Ipad T_T I really want one now.

Unfortunately ruby, its $4.99 for each volume. But it would be nice though if they could do that. Too bad Steve Jobs and the folks at Apple have a set policy to prevent that from happening. Or so I think?
