Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now most of you in the blogosphere already know about this story and that almost the media outlets have talked about this in one way or another, but for those of you who haven’t heard about this yet, something very interesting is about to occur in the Marvel Universe that will be the talk of the comics world for the next few weeks. So hang on to your seats because you are going to be amazed about what is going to happen.

As it was mentioned on the popular ABC talk show The View earlier today, the next two issues of Astonishing X-men (#50 and #51) will be featuring the controversial subject of same-sex marriage in which Northstar will propose to his longtime boyfriend Kyle to be engaged.

For me, I find that this has to be one of the most interesting events that has taken place in comic books in recent years. In the past, comic books have dealt with hot button issues such as drug addiction and other controversial topics covered in the main stream media. But with the recent news of President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden supporting gay marriage, is this the right time to showcase this to the American public or will it cause more debate as to whether or not same-sex marriage should be accepted in our culture?

You’ll just have to stay with AFC to find out. I will have more on this story in the days to come as well as all the latest news and reviews related to the world of otaku culture. Breaking News In Gaming-Persona 4 Golden To Come To Ps Vita In 2012!!!!!

Persona 4 The Golden-Official Trailer!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

As most of you know by now, in less than a weeks time the PS Vita will be available for purchase here in the U.S. Now your probably asking yourselves, I know that the Vita is being released next week but the games that will be available at launch are not my thing. Well have I got news for you, Atlus has recently announced that it will be releasing a new version of Persona 4 entitled Persona 4 The Golden for the PS Vita in the second quarter of 2012 in Japan.

The game will be similar to the original PS2 version that Atlus released back in 2008 with new features and story elements to enhance game play.  While this this new version of the game was originally to be released on the PSP, Atlus decided to go ahead and up the ante by porting the game to the new system, thus using the Vita’s full functionality. Overall I am excited about this game but it will be a while before it comes here since Atlus has not yet set a release date for a U.S. version of the game. So be patient folks, there are other games out there like Blazblue Continuum Shift Extended, Gravity Rush and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to keep you entertained until this hits overseas.

Misc Stuff-Happy New Year 2012 From Anime Full Circle!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well let me be the first to say welcome to the year 2012!!!!! Hopefully you all had a great 2011, but while I had some interesting moments this past year, their were some not so great moments in my life as well. However, I feel that this year is going to be the year of great success not only for me but for Anime Full Circle as well. But before I go into what I have in store for you guys this year, let me take just a moment to look back at AFC in 2011.

One thing to mention is that just this past month, we had manage to reach over 75,000 visitors on AFC. For me this is another great accomplishment that shows many of you are still loyal to us and that you find us an interesting source for the latest information about the world of Japanese Animation and Otaku Culture. But while I wasn’t able to post much this past year, one of my new year’s resolutions is going to be to post more often and come up with new and innovative ideas for the site.

But were not stopping at just new posts, I am also going to bring you tons of new anime, manga and video game reviews along with a look in the world of popular graphic novels including works from Marvel and DC Comics. This will bring a new meaning to AFC in which we will go full circle and beyond. So get ready guys for the release of Anime Full Circle 2.0, the rebirth of AFC!!!!!
