What To Watch (What I Will Be Watching): Cuticle Detective Inaba (Winter 2013)!!!!

January 2, 2013

Cuticle Detective Inaba

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well I welcome you one and all to 2013. I hope that you all got over all your new years eve and day partying and are ready to watch some of the new anime that will be hitting the streaming sites this winter. Thus it is with great pleasure that I introduce the first new segment of the new year entitled What To Watch, AKA What I Will Be Watching in which I will share my recommendations on some of the series that you should be watching through the different seasons. So to kick off the 2013 winter anime season, I would like to present to you for your consideration Cuticle Detective Inaba.

Now your probably asking yourselves, why am I going to be watching and reviewing this particular series. Well I have been on a detective anime kick recently. As you may recall, a few years back I did a review of the anime and manga series Steam Detectives by Kia Asamiya and just this past holiday weekend I finished watching Case Closed (Detective Conan) which I am currently on Vol. 27 of the manga.

But when I heard about this series, it really captured my interest. For one reason, the main character is a part wolf and has a good head of hair which is a interesting shade of red. But from what I can read in the show description on Crunchyroll this is more of a comedy detective series than a serious series. But overall it looks like an interesting series. Thus this is one of the series that I recommend taking a look at as part of your winter anime viewing.

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well as of today, my spring break has officially started and that means that a few things.

1) I have to study for two exams for when I get back to school next week!!!!!!!!!!! BOO!!!!!!!

2) I going to be doing a lot of catching up on my blogging, site administration and anime watching. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But getting back to business, so I haven’t done a week in anime post in a long time. And since there are some interesting stories that I want to talk about, I think it is time to bring this segment back out from the dust!!!!!!

TVTokyo-001

Our first story is that the television network TV Tokyo has recently made a huge investment in the online anime distribution site Crunchyroll. Tv Tokyo has contributed about 3/4 of a million US dollars for a stake in the companies assets. This deal will mean that Tv Tokyo will be a shareholder in the company.

Now this is going to be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming months. I have to say that Tv Tokyo is making a really great investment, I predict that with the money that they are putting forth, I can see a very promising future for both Tv Tokyo and Crunchyroll as a whole.

Eye Candy Break!!!!!!!!!!!!
