And hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well after much debate with my producers, we are finally able to move on with this segment of AnimeCenter. Now for those of you who were not with us on the last episode, we had a very tight match up between Ms. Yukari and Nyamo. Well after much debate between the judges about the swimming race, it has been officially decided that Nyamo will be moving on to the elite eight to face off against Apollo Justice. Now I know that we said that we were going to have live coverage of the press conference between Yukari and Nyamo, however our producers feel that it would not be suitable for broadcast. However, we do have some guest commentary from our guest analysis Tomo who was at the race. So Tomo what are your thoughts about the results.

Tomo: Well Andrew I have to say that I was a little upset that Yukari got her A** kicked by Nyamo, granted Nyamo is quite talented in athletics LOL!!!!!

Andrew: TOMO!!!!!!! You know you cant say that word when we are on the air,

Tomo: Sorry Andrew, though it is true that Yukari severely got her A** kicked in the race.

Andrew: Tomo, if you say that word one more time, I am going to come over there. pull down your skirt and give you a spanking on your A**, now look what you made me do. Oh the network censors and the FCC will have a heyday about this. Ok, thank you very much Tomo.

Tomo: Thanks Andrew, say am I in the next match up?

Andrew: Well actually Tomo, you are slated to be in the next match of AMM. And I think you are going to be surprised as to who you are going to faceoff against.

Tomo: OK, so who is it?

Andrew: Well take a look at this!!!!!!!!!

Andrew: Right on Tomo, but anyway let’s take a look at the stats between you two.

And Tomo it looks like you have a tendency to annoy people. (Tomo:What, that’s not true). well according to my information you do. Sort of reminds us of a certain some one we know, i.e. Ms. Yukari. It is also know that you are somewhat of a slacker, but you and Yomi were able to get into the same school. And you have a tendency to make dumb decisions, but we will see how it plays out in this match.

Now Yomi is sort of like Nyamo in some respects. She is very smart and strong in the athletic department. However her only weakness is the thousands of thousands of diets that she tries on a weekly basis. But she ends up failing to stick to them. Could this hurt her in the competition? We shall see.

Misc Stuff-Anime March Madness Round 2 (Update)

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Andrew here with your AnimeCenter Anime March Madness update. Now for those of you who did not see the last episode, we have a very interesting matchup between Ms. Yukari and Nyamo in round 2 of Anime March Madness!!!!!!!!!! And folks we have some live action taken from earlier today over at the swimming pool!!!!!!!!! Check this out!!!!!!!!

And it looks like that Nyamo takes an early lead in the competition while Yukari ends up falling flat on her face!!!!!!!!!! But what this, Yukari tries to throw off Nyamo by faking a leg cramp. OH!!!!!!!!!! but Yukari plan backfired in which she gets a cramp for real!!!!!!!! Unfortunately the race had to stop for a moment for Yukari to relieve the pain from that nasty cramp.

And it looks like Nyamo is helping here relieve the pain, that’s pretty good sportsmanship if I do say so myself, but it looks like we got a little un-sportsman like conduct from Nyamo there but I don’t think that the judges will hold it against her. But we will have to see what the judges say about this when they review the tape!!!!!!

So folks we will have more coverage from round two of AMM with an exclusive post-race press conference with Ms. Yukari and Nyamo, some post race commentary from Tomo and a preview of round three action. Misc Stuff-Happy Birthday Little Brother!!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now I can tell you guys right now that this is totally not anime related, but this is really important to me. But I just wanted to take just a moment to wish my little brother Joe a Happy 22nd Birthday tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I know that most of you readers out there may have little brothers or sisters that can sometimes be little pains in the neck (Mine included LOL!!!!!!!!!!). But in all honesty, no matter how much they bug us, or make our lives miserable. They are still considered as family. So in closing, if you haven’t done so today, tell your little brother or sister that you love them. And trust me on this one, they will defiantly return the favor!!!!!!! Ltrs.

Misc Stuff-Anime March Madness Round 2

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Welcome to the first edition of AnimeCenter, and folks have we got a great show for you guys today. We got exclusive coverage from round one action of Anime March Madness and also a preview of what’s to come in round two. So let’s get right to the action.

AMM Round 1 Recap (Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice)

And round 1 of AMM was a bit of a nail bitter folks, both Phoenix and Apollo were both neck and neck in the competition. In the first half, Apollo and his chords of steal ended up knocking Phoenix’s spiky hair to the ground. But Phoenix fights back with his powers of the Fey channeling technique to turn Apollo into a weak little boy crying for his mommy!!!!!!! (Oh, sorry Apollo. I forgot you don’t know who your mother is). But in the second half, Apollo end up getting the upper hand by having Phoenix relive the day that he lost his attorneys badge. And with only 30 sec left in the second half, Apollo ended up getting the last blow with his chords of steal to seal the deal. So it looks like Apollo will be moving on to the next round in Anime March Madness.

And now before we move on with the preview of our next match up, we have a special guest to help up analyze the highlights of the exciting first round action. Here is Maya Fey, Maya take it away!!!!!!

Maya: Thanks Andrew, well I have to say that round one of the tournament was very exciting indeed!!!!!!! My Nick was doing very well early on in the competition, but I have to say that Apollo was a strong player in the second half. And Nick, if you are watching this you owe me a burger!!!!!!!!

Andrew: Now hold on a second Maya, you were betting on Phoenix to lose the first round??????

Maya: Well yes Andrew, I knew that he didn’t have a chance in winning the first round. So I kind of figured it would be fun to wager on this game. And I can’t believe I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew: Okay!!!!! Well thank you very much Maya for the commentary and we will be talking to you again later on in the tournament.

Maya: Thank you Andrew!!!!!!!!!!!

Anime March Madness Round 2-Yukari Vs. Nyamo

And now it is time for round two of AMM. And in round two we have two teachers who are very close friends but they sometimes get on each others nerves. Yes folks, I am referring to Yukari and Nyamo from Azumanga Daioh. So lets take a look at the stats between these two titans of the Azumanga world!!!!!!!!!!

Now for those of you who have seen Azumanga Diaoh, you probably know that Yukari is one of the craziest teachers among the the three teachers in the series. Her personality is completely different than Nyamo’s in which she doesn’t think things through properly and she always can be in a bad mood. Hopefully most of you out there didn’t have a teacher like this in high school!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!

Nyamo 

Now Nyamo on the other hand, Nyamo is a bit more calm in nature. You could say that she is Yukari’s better half. Nyamo is strong in athletics and she is one of the most popular teachers of the series. However she does tend to have fun and she is also single!!!!!!!!!!! So guys, feel free to give her you numbers after this round is over!!!!!!! Lol!!!!!!!

We today I was going to reveal who was going to move on in our Anime March Madness tournament today, but since today is St. Patrick’s Day I am going to hold off on it until tomorrow!!!!!!! Misc Stuff-AFC Reaches 10,000 Visitors!!!!!!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well I have some major news to share with you guys. In over the year and a half that Anime full Circle has been live, I never had expected that today we would reach the 10,000 visitor milestone. That’s right guys, since Anime Full Circle went live back on September 20,2008 over 10,000 visitors!!!!!!!!!!!! And to be honest with you guys, I didn’t think we would make it to this point.

So I would like to take just a moment to thank all you readers out there in blogging land for your continued support for Anime Full Circle. Without you guys, we wouldn’t still be going strong. But I would also like to thank a few people out there who are strong supporters of AFC.

First, I would like to thank Matt G from Finally Anime. From time to time he comments on AFC with some interesting and awesome comments for my posts, but I would also like to thank him for giving me another shot at being a co-author. I am enjoying my time at Finally Anime and I hope that are relationship as bloggers stays strong now and well into the future.

Second, Blue Drakon (Aka:Dan) from Two Old For Anime. He a new commenter here at AFC and he also recently joined Matt and I on the staff at Finally Anime. He is a really interesting guy in which his blog provides an interesting insight into the world of anime.  If you haven’t checked out Two Old For Anime, I totally recommend checking it out. It is defiantly worth visiting.

Third, I would like to thank Yi over at Listless Ink. Another great blog that provides a cool look at anime, games and much much more!!!!!!!! The post on Yi’s site are very interesting to read and I always like to comment on them whenever I get a moment to visit LI. And Don’t worry, I will post links to these sites at the end of this post!!!!!!!!!!

And finally, I would like to give a special thank you to Aaron and Diana Schnuth from Schnuthcast. For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, Schnuthcast is a great podcast that talks about everything from anime, sci-fi, manga, graphic novels, video games and a whole bunch of other things. It is a really great podcast for those of you who are looking for podcast that gives you a little bit of everything!!!!!!!!!!! I defiantly recommend checking it out!!!!!!!!

Misc Stuff-Anime March Madness Round 1

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well since today officially kicks off March Madness (Aka: NCAA College Basketball Tournament), I have decided to do my own version of this major sporting event in which I will call Anime March Madness. And before I get into this, I can assure you that their will be no confusing brackets to fill out but you will get to be a part of the action!!!!!!! So without further ado, let’s get started.

Ok, here’s how it is going to work. So for the next few weeks, I am going to be pairing up different aspects of otaku culture to face off in a head to head showdown to see who is the best of the best in the world of otaku culture. So lets get this competition started with our first match up, and here it is.

Round 1-Phoenix Wright Vs. Apollo Justice

So for our first match up we have two of the greatest attorneys ever to be featured in a video game franchise. I am referring to Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice. So before I tell you guys how to get involved, lets take a look at the evidence shall we!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Phoenix Wright

Now as most of you guys know, Phoenix Wright was known as a rookie defense attorney in the original ace attorney games. He was also known for his dry wit and sense of humor when it comes to trials. But after he lost his attorneys badge over forged evidence, he adopts a young girl named Trucy Greymeyer and opens up a talent agency in which he looks for new and current talent. Sounds like a person who you like to hire if you get caught in a jam doesn’t it. Ok, lets move on.

Apollo Justice

Next we have Apollo Justice, a young attorney with a mysterious past. Abandoned as an infant, young Apollo grew up to be a strong attorney in which Phoenix takes him under his wing in order to improve and hone his skills as an defense attorney. It is also know that he is the half brother of Trucy!!!!!!!!

Misc Stuff-Crazy At The Moment, But Will Be Back Up To Speed Later This Week!!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now I know what you guys are thinking, why the heck haven’t I been updating AFC on a frequent basis over the past few weeks? Well things have been a little bit crazy for me personally with school and work related issues and all of the projects and exams that go with it. So unfortunately, that has cut into my blogging time severely (i.e. my one web based course was one of the culprits in this dilemma LOL!!!!!!!!!!!). However things are looking up for me, I have been able to get back up to speed with that and with spring break only a few weeks away I hope to get back to blogging on a regular schedule later on this week.

I have a lot of great posts that I have been dying to work on including my first salute to Hayao Miyazaki post on Howl’s Moving Castle and my copy of Ponyo is on it’s way so I will have a review on that as well. All that plus a whole lot more is coming you way in the weeks to come. So to all you readers out there, thanks for your continuing support and patience during this crazy moment in my life.
