Anime Remix: Japanese Culture Edition-Weird Japanese Potty Training Video!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now over the last few years, I have seen some really weird videos that I have decided to use for Anime Remix. But the one that I am going to be talking about has to be one of the most weirdest videos that I have ever seen in my entire life.

Now in this following video, we see a little tiger character named Shimajiro teaching young Japanese toddlers how to go to the potty. Now if you think potty training was weird for you growing up, just imagine how many kids would be freaked out by this if they had to see this here in the states? Pretty scary I would imagine.

But if you think that is strange, you should see how they teach kids to do number two!!!!!

Anime Remix-Ninja Warrior Birthday Party!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Well have I got a special treat for Anime Remix this week.

So let me start off by asking you guys a question, are you a fan of the
television show Ninja Warrior? Did you ever wish to actual course? And would you
like to run it on your birthday? If you answered yes to any of these questions,
well then this video is for you.

In this clip, we have freddiew and a few of his friends attending a taping of
American Ninja Warrior. However if that wasn’t enough, they decided to run the
actual course.

So how did they do this you ask, they came up with the elaborate
scheme that it was one of their buddies birthday. How they managed to get away
with it, I don’t know but you have to admit that it would be awesome if it is
possible to run the course on your actual birthday.

Anime Remix-Washu’s Lullaby (Happy Mothers Day From Anime Full Circle)!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

So I just wanted to take a moment to wish all you mothers out there a very happy mothers day. Hopefully you had a great day free from housework, changing diapers, and driving to soccer practice among other things your kids need. And to all you younger readers out there, I hope that you did something special for your mother today. She has taken a lot of her time to raise you, so you should at least do something nice in return.

So to celebrate this very special occasion, I am going to share three special videos with you featuring one mother who wasn’t with her child from birth, but she still manages to care about her. Of course I am referring to Ryoko’s mother, Washu Habuki!!!!

Well start this tribute with a little back story. For those of you who have seen Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Oki, you know what I am referring to. But if not, take a look at this.

The next video features the song “Washu’s Lullaby” from the Tenchi Muyo Original Soundtrack. It is a really great song and it really tugs at the heart strings.

Finally, we have a few clips featuring mother and daughter together!!!! Well, not exactly!!!!

Anime Remix-Sailor Moon Plus Jerry Springer Equals Awkward!!!! Or If You Would Prefer, Freaking Awesome

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates over the last few months. As most of you loyal readers out there know, I have been busy looking for a full-time job. But so far, I have been having some lousy luck. But hopefully, March will be a luck month for me. Will this be the month that I finally land a job? Well have to see how things go, but enough about that let’s dive into this weeks edition of Anime Remix.

Now I don’t know how many of you readers out there are fans of the Jerry Springer show, but if you are then you are going to like this video. In the video, we see the characters from Sailor Moon being shown on a episode parody of the popular talk show, all the fighting, cursing and adult content you could ever want included. Keep in mind that this is a parody and not an actual episode of Jerry. Personally, I found the video hilarious and it totally covers the show from beginning to end. I should also mention that the music featured in the video is from Weird Al Yankovic, so you know it’s going to be good.

Anime Remix-Love Plus Nene Angeasaki Featured In Halls Cough drops Ad!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now we all know that this time of the year is not only the busiest time but is also the time where many of us catch the dreaded colds, flus and sinus infections that come around this time of the year. However the innovative people over at Cadbury Japan who distribute the “Halls Cough drop Brand” in Japan recently came up with a interesting advertising campaign to show off their new pink grapefruit flavor which will hit Japanese stores next summer (June to be more exact).

In this fictional ad for the company, Nene helps the Halls development team to help them produce the next new flavor for the Halls brand. Nene suggests to the team that, “They need to make a blend that is just a little bit sweeter until they find the perfect flavor”. Thus the development team was able to come up with the new pink grapefruit flavor. The commercial then ends with Nene enticing the viewer to open wide and say ahh so that she can put the drop in their mouth. Now if this isn’t great advertising to go out and  buy a pack of these, I don’t know what is. How about having Nene on the packaging, does that seal the deal???

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

I know that it has been a few weeks since I have done a new post. But with finals week and graduation around the corner, I had to cut back on my blogging time. But once this is all over and done with, I will be able to resume posting at full force. But for right now here is another edition of Anime Remix for your viewing pleasure.

For this edition of AR, I would like to submit for your approval the teaser trailer for the new Wii game “Cooking Mama World: Babysitting Mama”. Now your probably wondering why Nintendo would come up with a game that focuses around childcare? My assumption is that since the Cooking Mama franchise has been such a big hit in the states, Nintendo found it interesting to change things up a bit.

Keep in mind that the trailer only shows a small portion of the game play. But if you feel brave enough, you can check out some of the game play by checking out the gameplay video at the end of this post. And trust me guys, some of the gameplay is absolutely hilarious. Anime Remix-Pokémon Pan AKA (Pokémon Bread)!!!!!

Now a while back I mentioned that I was currently watching a very interesting anime series known as Yakitate Japan. So far I am enjoying the series, but it kind of got me to thinking, what would happen if you were to combine this series with another popular anime series such as Pokémon. The answer is you get one of Japan’s popular food products “Pokémon Pan”.

So for this edition of anime remix, I would like to showcase one of the commercials that showcase this very popular food product. I found this commercial very interesting and it really makes me want to go to Japan and get some Pokémon Pan. Too bad we can’t get this in the states :(

Anime Remix (Before They Were Stars)-Drake Bell!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Now guys I have a special edition of anime remix for you today, and trust me you are going to love this one. Now you may or may not remember this famous commercial for the original Pokémon games but you probably recognize a familiar face staring in it. But for those of you who don’t know who he is, let me give you a little background info to help you out.

Before he became a famous television, movie actor and musician, he stared in this famous commercial to show how you can trade Pokémon with your friends. This commercial then moved him up the ranks of Hollywood stardom in which he stared in such shows as “The Amanda Show” and his own spinoff series. He then later became famous with his hit songs such as “I Found a Way” and “Makes Me Happy”.

Give up, well for those of you wondering who he is, it’s Drake Bell!!!!! Who knew appearing in a television commercial for a popular Game Boy game can help you become a star!!!!!! In the following video, we see an original mint condition copy of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Atari game, (One of the worst Atari games ever made) being microwaved  until it is burned and melted to a crisp. Anime Remix-Daioh Note!!!!!

Hello and greetings fellow otaku,

Once again I apologize for the lack of updates recently, and I am happy to say that I ended up getting an A- in my writing intensive course YES!!!!! Sadly, with fall semester starting up in three weeks I am a little stressed out!!!!! However here is something that will liven up the mood.

So what do you get when you mix Azumanga Daioh and Death Note together? The answer is simple really, you get one hilarious anime remix!!!!! In this video we see clips from Death Note but as you will notice, the voices of the characters are filled in by quotes from Azumanga Daioh (There in Japanese by the way). Now you will probably recognize these famous quotes if you have watched the sub or dubbed versions of the series. So trust me when I say that you are going to laugh your A** off when you watch this.
