Recently Yahoo Auctions Japan has recently placed a 59 foot tall movie poster for Evangelion 2.0: You (Can) Not Advance on their website. The poster which was used to celebrate the film’s two millionth viewing is currently selling on the site for 70,000 yen or $734 U.S. dollars. A smaller character poster which is also up for sale is currently selling for 111,000 yen or $1,160 U.S. dollars. The auctions will be ending on August 19 and all proceeds will go to The Japan Committee Vaccines for The Worlds Children. As we have been reporting, Media Blasters is releasing the second season of Genshiken. But the company has been flip\flopping on the exact date of release. It was originally announced that the first volume of the series was slated to be released on September 8. But it has been recently moved to August 25. It has also been announced that the second volume of the series is going to be released on October 27. Hopefully this will be the very last change before the official release.
