It has been recently announced that Nozomi Entertainment (A subsidiary of RightStuf.com) has recently obtained the rights to the Dirty Pair television series. Nozomi plans to release the 24 episode series in two DVD box sets later on this year, this series is considered the first anime adaptation of the original graphic novels and short stories.
The Dirty Pair ova’s and movies were previously released by ADV Films!!!!!!!!! As always stay tuned to Anime Full Circle for the latest updates on this developing story. And until next time, remember that their is a ton of great anime and manga out there. All you have to do is find it. Ltrs.

Wow, I am quite surprised that you remember Dirty Pair from back in the day. I just recently got into the series about six or seven years ago and I have to say that it is awesome!!!!!!
I still have my bootlegged japanese VHS tapes from the old Fantasy Fair days in Atlanta and excited to see this come out. Back in those days if you saw anything translated to English, the fan clubs usually did it, not the original production company.
Is there any word on an actual release date for these yet? I have waited a long time for these to come to DVD
According to Right Stuf the parent company of Nozomi Entertainment, they state that part one of the collection will be released on November 2 while part two will be released eary next year. Right Stuf will be taking pre-orders for the part one box set starting on October 5. Hope this helps answer your question.
